I think lit frowns on such things. Personally, when I want to piss lit off I open up a pic and make a teeny tiny change. then I repost it wherever it was headed (usually to the general board for illustrated poetry)

Everybody calm down, or I'll have to bring out the Crisco and the plastic sheets!! (wrong thing to say with this crowd, I'm sure...) 
You can resize and rename your own pics (pics taken by or of you)..... If it's a pic that you downloaded, resizing and renaming it doesn't make it your own.
Also, making a link to one of your previously posted pic is completely legal....

Black and White Thread
Hi Nigel,
Can you please advise why this one was removed?
To the best of my knowledge it contained no copyright pics, and if there were any it would have only been on or two at most, should the thread be "adjusted" rather than deleted if that's the case?
Appreciate the job you guys all do, but this is the second time a favourite has dissapeared, and it gets a bit frustrating, we had 44 of our own pics posted there.....
I'll start another thread on the topic, but would like to know what happened, and whom the culprit was, that way I can keep an eye on it and alert you before you have to wipe out a whole thread??!
PMs are fine if you don't want to publicly bash anyone.....

I saw the thread for the first time tonight, and as I have a love for good b&w photography, I checked it out. In the early pages of the thread, a poster (no need to reveal identities - this poster had done the same before and now knows the error of their ways) had posted many images from other websites - most of them bearing a legend within the picture of the URL of the site. As I've said before, the guidelines I was given by Laurel were that if the photo was not taken by or of the poster, it should not be uploaded to the site.
I had started to delete the individual attachments, but had soon realized that there were more than ten on the first page, and as I scanned the other pages, I realized that the efforts to individually delete each image would prove too cumbersome. Therefore, I deleted the entire thread. This is something that I do not enjoy doing, but I also would not enjoy spending an hour or more (and I know this from experience) editing out images from a thread.
As far as wanting to keep an eye on a thread that you start - good for you! It isn't necessary to keep an eye out for individuals, but simply report posts to us when you suspect the image attached is not of or taken by the poster. Of course, you also have the right to contact the poster and ask that they not post improper images on the thread.
Post away...as long as the images are yours!

I'm not missing a thread but I do have a question about posting pics and I'm not sure exactly where to ask.
If I want to post a pic from my thread on another thread it's not letting me do it, it says the picture has already been posted somewhere else. I tried renaming it and that didn't help either. Anyway around this?
