I keep getting these e-mails from people who say "I've been lurking on the site and I love your posts and stories, etc.." So I'm wondering how many "lurkers" there are on the BB.

after posting i still lurked around and read the posts on the BB for quite awhile. posted my second story and then got up the nerve to try to post. so far i havent been disappointed.

Actually I signed up awhile ago and just lately found the BB. I feely admit though that I was a lurker for awhile.

I admit it, I am a lurker. Though I was a lurker with a registered screen name! I hated the screen name, as it was a name the EX created when we joined LIT together months ago.
Since then I have taken on my own name.....still lurking but working on coming out more!

I was a lurker before I registered, and I think that's pretty common. You have to sort of check things out, and see if it's the kind of place that will interest you on a regular basis and where you'll run into interesting people. I think a lot of lurkers are just members in training.

I came for the stories, and stayed for the conversation.

When I first came here i only read the stories and didn't even notice there was a bulletin board.

Once i stumbled in i lurked and posted unregistered a few times and then i realized joining would give my husband a fit so i HAD to join!!

I haven't been back to the stories in weeks.

I mostly just read and toss in a comment now and then. I am going to have to chill out on the posting because i LOVE being a virgin again. But it's so hard to resist. Self control was never my forte.
