Are you crying???

So I'm a crier, so sue me, but I never cry during baseball. Well except when I was there to see McGwire hit 60-62, and 66-70. and geting Cal Ripkens Autograph. My most cherished sports memorabilia yet.

P.S. - Great movie by the way, but I prefer Field Of Dreams.

Jimmy Dugan: Rogers Hornsby was my manager, and he called me a talking pile of pigshit! And that was when my parents drove all the way down from Michigan to see me play the game! And did I cry? NO! NO! And do you know why?

Evelyn Gardner: No, no, no.

Jimmy Dugan: Because there's no crying in baseball!

*Sighs* Great movie.

My husband and I were there too. It was our 6th year anniversary gift to each other. We got to see 66-70. It was the most incredible thing we have ever done. I don't think I will ever be able to top that gift.

My favorite scene is when Marla is up on stage at the speakeasy singing and Dottie asks what happened to her and they say they gave her a dress and a lot of liquor. That movie is one of my all time favorites. I could watch it all the time and never get tired of it.

This used to be my playground
This used to be my childhood dream, this used to be the place I ran to, whenever I was in need, of a friend, why did it have to end, and why....
