Are you a good cook?: Come here

As some of may already know, I made killer pasta sauce with Scotch Bonnett. It's too hot, but I'm thinking some cheese will mild it down.

So, I descided to make pizza. Well, I can just easily use sliced bread as base, but it just cheese on toast with sauce.

I'd like to know how to make a good pizza dough. I got plane flower, salt, peper, and water ready.

What else do I need? I've a lil bit of full milk. Is egg absolute neccesity?

Help me out, guys!

For the bread, add in garlic powder, onion powder, italian seasoning, and orageno. Just about a teaspoon of each, more or les to taste.

When the dough is all laid out, take melted butter with garlic powder mixed in, and brush it over the entire thing, making sure to put quite a bit on the outter 'crust'.

When it's cooking, take it out every 10 minutes or so, when it starts to look dry, and brush more garlic butter on it. For the last ten minutes of cooking, let it dry out.

Home made seasoned crust. :)

phone up Pizza Hut and get them to deliver

Less stress and be honest pizza is pizza

I haven't got yeast, so it has do without. I'm not into deep crust stuff anyway.

How long should I leave it in the oven? Oh, and at what temperature?

Good Lord, but it's NOT!

Home made is 10 times better, even if it's only made from a dough kit provided by Chef Boyardee, which, by the by, makes a great starting crust. :)

Without yeast, it won't rise. If it doesn't rise, you are going to have kinda hewy crust that is rather heavy feeling.

To bake it, it's usually takes around 25-30 minutes at about 325. Check it every ten minutes or so, add the cheese on during the last 10, or it will scorch. When the crust starts to look like bread, rather then dough, then add the cheese, and go 10 more minutes.

What is 325F in Centigrade?

Do I bake it with the sauce on, then add cheese?

1. Fuck if I know. ;)

2. Put the sauce and any toppings on, then add the cheese after it's halfway through baking. :)

Buy it in - it is going to end in tears -

try Pizza express then - better make

no normal kitchen has a hot enough oven to really make a good pizza base

Try stong flour and semolina flour in a 50/50 mix, but try and warm both before adding the yeast.

The honeys a good idea too!

Later when you're ready to roll it, don't do it to thick, you want to taste that topping you've slaved over..................right?
About 3/4cm should do it, that will rise/prove to about 1cm!

Oh......................................and don't forget the red wine!

Enjoy

P.S. 325F is about 180C. No doubt someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
