I came of age during the time of untrimmed bushes too. It never occurred to me to trim or shave it when I was younger and none of my lovers suggested it either.

I've wondered that too, sigh. I recall clearly when I was growing my own pubes about the age of twelve - not wanting the girls I knew to become hairy. How we resist change, even at that age!
