Are people avoiding my threads because I'm *too* deep?

If you're feeling a bit overlooked and ignored, I can tell you it happens all the time here. Frankly, there are days when I wonder if anyone reads what I post... I wonder why I bother. I might as well just type "blahblahblahblahblahblahblah". Lit can be very cliquey and a few of the posters that have been around here a while wouldn't *dream* of posting to a newcomer's thread, or acknowledging a newbie who has the hide, the *brass neck*, to post to one of their "in" threads. Those are the ones I avoid!

<shrugs> It's their loss!

Keep on doin' what you do :)

Well said, Foxy:) Kisses to ya, hon!!!

Geez - you're changing avi's just as fast as I am... which says something! ;)

BTW:

You are a sweet caring individual who really knows how to treat her friends...

Told you I'd be praising you if you didn't praise yourself... I bet you're blushing, aren't you? :D

BlackBird,
For the record, not that my opinion necessarily matters, I do not find your threads to be too deep. I attempt to read all I can. Lately, my use for words has fumbled. It's as if when I speak or type, the words sound foreign. So, I am mostly on the reading end of threads, these days.
Just be yourself. :)

I thought I was stalking you......damnit......unfortunately I haven't been on for a few days. I have been remiss in my duties. <sobbing> how can you ever forgive me?

ohhhh and I read in another thread that people thought you were gay?.......lol....haahahahah......HAAHAHAHAHAHAH.....oh sorry, that amused me.

your sexy stalker,
perky

PS...as for deep?....deeper baby...oh yeah!...oh god....YES!!......

oh you meant your threads..hmmm.......okay see above again

;)

I kinda question the word deep in conjunction with a question. It brings up the mental image of knee-deep in ...

It's kinda like Sparky, Ambro, FlamingoBlue, or any of the other musers of the board. You have to appreciate thier philosophical meanderings and be in the mood for it. Maybe you are too consistent and people just pass unless they are in the mood for deep thought vs. light-hearted flirting or bombastic political stands, or one-word games, or movie-title games, or what was the best [] you ever []. Worst?

Just musing, I could be wrong.

Always with something nice to say...

Well I have something nice to say to you...:)

I love your threads...I read each and every one of your posts...sometimes I just don't have anything to add tho...

oh, and about your changing avs all the time?...I love this one...but I would like the one of you...IF you showed your teeth! :D

I think ...

you've had some pretty good participation on some of your threads.

I especially liked the "what I would do for her" thread ...

and the "what about the shy guy?" thread ...

and the "what if it was a person?" thread.

Heh... Well?

I actually look forward to your threads! Your "what I would do for her" just left me "speechless", which is a compliment!

My threads rarely stay on the first 3 pages! Well, a lot of times they are "senseless", so I just try to bump them up every so often just to annoy people (I streak I just recently developed!);)

Keep them coming, Black Bird!

You shouldn't feel that way, Black_Bird. It seems to me lots of people read your threads and even reply to them. They are thought provoking and at times quite insightful to the person who replies.

I do read them during the times when I am here at Literotica, but can't always reply due to time constraints or else I get so emotional while typing that I have to stop.

Thank you.

You know, BB, everyone who begins threads watches some of them take off and others, equally interesting, sink like stones. There's got be some kinda logical formula that can be applied to threads as a predictor of success but no one has come up with it yet, though there have been at least a thread or two that asked the asked the question.

In answer, no. No, i don't think your threads are too deep. Lika many others, there are times when my free time is limited and all i can do, literally, is post to the threads in which i'm already participating and, maybe, scan a few new ones. I *like* your threads, usually, and am far more inclined to click into one that you've begun than to pass it by. Your threads don't usually degenerate into the kind of fluffy flirting in which i'm almost always pretty uninterested.

Thanks guys...

Sometimes I'm just a little too self-conscious for my own good. :)

"What I'd do for her" is the most beautiful thread I've read since I've been on the general board, which is about six weeks. I didn't post to it because some of the answers were so beautiful I couldn't decide how to reply, whether in verse , or just to be more
direct & post about what I've done for her so far instead. I wanted to give it more thought. If the only thing you did here was shepard that thread, I think you'd be one of the greatest contributors to the General Board. Anything else is a bonus. But that's just my opinion, I'm a sappy romantic.

Lately I've been in the mood to lighten things up , with tim1, Koala, & PC being generally absent . Rick DeVille is down on his post count, too.

I'll discuss religion with you some day because I'm sure you & I could do that cordially, but it's a subject that has a knack for starting fights, & I haven't been opening those threads for fear of what I'd find.
