I love writing. I have an active imagination and I can come up with interesting plots. My concern is that my descriptions of the actual sexual scenes seem stilted, cold and sterile. What do you think? How can I liven up my writing? Perhaps I need to do more research?

A short list of suggestions:
1. Use rich descriptive language, but don't overdo the adjectives. Make them count.
2. Hit all five senses.
3. Talk about the emotions, not just the physical act.
4. Use similies. (Kissing her was like cheating on a diet.)
