It's more job than you've ever had.

Suppose for a moment, and I know this will tax your brain, but how much per hour would it take to coax you away from your computer and out of your house to work at McD's?

Derb de derb....

First if a job was paying say $10/hr ... i would accept the job then two week later go on strike demanding $15

No more 2.99 value meals...

It's probably the best and highest paying job that you have ever had. You are always here so how can you ever leave the house.

When one owns the business and the computer, one can do anything one wants. It's one of the perks of being a job creator.

It's easy to see why people like you and Jenn are jealous of anyone who has a job, whatever the pay.

As they are not OUR employees your question lacks relevance but you have not been relevant since I met you.

Why isn't it a career? Its damn hard work. Worked fast food as a teenager and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. A lot harder than sitting behind a computer or pushing paper in an office.

It should be worth a living wage, the problem is the government setting the wage scale causes its own set of problems. I'm not sure what the answer is, we need to find a middle ground between laissez-faire capitalism and liberal socialism.

You are a lowlife idiot. You don't know anything about making money. Looking at your blog.

It looks like you think that collecting a welfare check and the putting up a couple of sites and trying to make money off of google ads... You don't have what it takes to make real money. I could give you some tips sometime. Hell why don'y you try selling Avon... you can make money like Peg Bundy!

When's your birthday, ruse?

I'd like to get you a unicorn to ride as you seek that ground...

and this based off of ....what?

Based on what/who decides what is "fair" for a minimum wage. If people want higher wages for jobs that are not intended to be a career, such as a counter worker or food cooker at a fast food, then those same people had better be prepared to spend $10.00 for a hamburger at the same places.

If the people want a job at all, then the company has to make a profit. Companies are not in business to be a charity. Those jobs are entry level jobs....for those who need work experience, need a bit of extra money or are in need of an extra job. They are not meant to be able to solely support a family.

If $15.00 is ok for a minimum wage worker, why not $20? Why not 30? Why not $50?

The market dictates what people can be paid, what prices are set and what people will spend. I would venture to bet that those workers would rather have a job for $7.50/hour than not having a job because the company shut down from mandated overpriced minimum wages.

have you ever looked at a standard of living study? earning 7.50 now, would be less than making 2 bucks an hour 30 years ago...how exactly is that a fair wage?

you do relize the average age of a fast food clerk is 28 now, right? it's not an entry job anymore...it's an any job they can find job...they arent mean to support a familly, but when the only job you can find is fast food, it becomes a means of doing so... just because it isnt happening to you, doesnt mean it doesnt happen to millions of others

australian workers earn 15 bucks an hour at the golden arches...yet burgers cost the same as they do anywhere else//so your cost going up antecdote is disproven by one nation

the market does not dictate what people can be paid, if it did we'd still have company towns and company stores as it is not in the interest of any business to give away money

Your oxycontin must have kicked in

Google ads? What are you on about? I don't have any sites. That's your gig. How you make any money from them is a wonder, judging from the nonsense you post on Lit. It's good to know you don't have to steal from your mother to support your habit. Post a link to them. I'd love to see your work.

To be fair, when he posted that pic, he hadn't actually seen a vagina.
