Seven year cycles, yes, I am in the beginning of my ninth one at 56 years of age. Many changes took place over the last seven and many more will come. I feel like I am witnessing the dawn of a new freedom in my life. Personal freedom from family obligations, freedom to rediscover me, now that I can think without the constant drip of overbearing hormones clouding my vision.

As far as monogamy and the original thread goes, one of my favorite 50s movies is "The Seven Year Itch" starring Marilyn Monroe. Hollywood was on top of the monogamy problem way back then.
