are diet and a good workout enough

i need to drop a few pounds and just basically start living a little healthier lifestyle...while reasearching some different programs i came across the following...with so many bright people here i know someone is into health training and can tell me if this is safe and productive...

as far as the diet is concerned just cut down on protions and add a lot more fresh fruit and vegetables...cut back on red meat and especially fat intake...

the following weight lifting program was recommended...

sometimes i just hate computers..file too big..frakerstaffinsmaklrafinsuckerrobit....i'll try agin later..woulda been funniern shit too....
 
Less chocolate, alcohol, coca-ola, butter, red meat... things like that.... 20-30 (roughly) minutes of cardio (i.e. running, cycling etc.) and then whatever weights are suitable for you (check with the gym)

After 3 months you will notice the difference, or your money back :)
