Not to be too glib, it just seems like most women on Literotica profess being subs. I don't live here, but any time I've explored, there seem to be few dominant woman. And by this, I don't mean lifestyle dommes or professionals, but women who simply like to be in control in the bedroom or maybe a little playfully sadistic.

Thoughts?

Personally I am a very strong and dominant woman in and out of the bedroom. Not in the lifestyle, just know what I like and what I want. We exist. ;)

Hahaha nicely said and it's really the same for me. Seems you just didn't went deep enough to find us :D

Would either of you two strong ladies find the idea of a man kneeling before her, with his lips caressing her thigh, to be an appealing image?

There are more subs than doms, male or female. It's also true that, in most cultures, men are encouraged to be more dominant-ish, and women are encouraged to be more submissive-ish, which I guess might exaggerate the trend further. And in case that's not bad enough, on Literotica (and I'd assume other, similar forums?) there's a supply-versus-demand dynamic going on where the dom women are so sought after that it blows past being flattering and straight into an inbox-clogging annoyance, which has got to discourage at least some women from talking about dom tendencies, lest they suddenly be deluged with a flood of messages from men about wanting to worship their feet.

You'd think getting frequent floods of fanmail of "oh wow can I worship the crap out of you and do whatever you want" would be really appealing, and perhaps the first time it is, but after that I'm pretty sure it gets exasperating.

So, yes, your observations are correct, but there's a bit of a confluence of causes going on that explains them.

Dominant, not domme's. Excellently put, a woman that loves a strong man but isn't afraid to speak (and show) what she wants. They are out there, they are picky :D , but when you get under the skin of one it is absofuckingfantastic.

I am just another Anglophone that spent not enough winters skiing in the Eastern Townships and never enough summer weekends crawling Rue Ste. Catherine, but every la femme Quebecoise I was lucky enough to meet always brought that growl out in my throat. And you did tonight, I LOVE your Tumblr. Magnifique!

i'm a little of both - it just depends on my mood. it's a good compromise for us to take turns at being the person in control.
