younger than Britkids?.In Britland the age of sexual consent is 16.At 18 you are considered to be adult.You can buy booze,get a mortgage etc.From what I read in Lit. stories under 21's in the US are still children.So are American kids younger in thoughts and deeds or have I read it wrong,again?.

Ok...State by state varies in the US. Where I am at, age of Consent is 16. You are considered an adult at 18, and you can buy booze at 21.

here in the states, you can drive at 16 in most states. vote and die for your country at 18, but you can't drink until you're 21......go figure. i was able to start drinking legally at 18, but was buying from the state stores at 15. never needed my fake id
