There was an announcement in the Tech Forum. Link above.Me too. Apparently, it JUST happened, as in my archived feed shows activity from 3 hours ago. It's currently 10:44 am in my location. At least all the old activity seems to be there, I just wish there would be some notification of what they are doing. "Hey! We're going to improve the Activity feed. This will cause old activity to be archived, but don't worry, you can still get to it at the link we will provide."
I've already been in a writing funk, and with all the problems authors are having with stories being published, I'm just going to hold off on any submissions. If it doesn't improve, then I've already posted my last Lit story.
Okay I am going to be the old lady walking with a glass half full … maybe this will fix the “long time getting a story published” issue.Call me old fashioned, but announcements tend to work better when issued some time before the changes.

don't stop, I'm so closeI wonder if this means the author News Updates feature is finally on the horizon?![]()
Happened just recently. One minute I had a full list of notifications, then refreshed and they were gone. I don't see how notifications from yesterday count as 'older'.
Oddly, pulling up the empty feed message is taking several seconds longer than the old feed did.

Probably wanting the feedback after the new feed page is launched, not before. Just a thought. From @Manu who seems to be well at least:

It’s at the very bottom of the empty page you get. At the end of the paragraph about older notificationsI can't find the link to my archived feed.
