On the other hand, my cat took one glance at the screen, one "oh-you-can't-seriously-expect-me-to-fall-for-THAT" glance at me, and went off to gnaw on an unsuspecting sneaker.
 
That's cool...but you can't move the insects and drive the spider crazy. :D

Actually... it's the squishing I'm afraid of. Wolf spiders carry their babies on their backs, so when you squish them....

WOOSH! Out fly all the babies.... EWWWWWW!

Spiders and I do NOT get along.

I'm not so bad now, but there was a time in our family when all large spider squishing was relegated to the biologist in the family. She'd come home and all three of us would be sitting in the living room. "Mom, there's a big spider in my bedroom so we'll just wait here until you take care of it."

I feel your disgust. ;)

Semi related topic, anybody remember Arachnophobia in the theatres?

They were mean to you, set up little air jets all over in the seats and they would go off while watching the movie, made you think you had a spider on you. :eek:

I ended up sitting on my then boyfriends lap squeezing hard and twitching through half the movie. I'm not scared of spiders, no really I'm not, I just really hate when they walk on you, well any bug, spiders especially. Doesn't help the movie is about killer spiders, your sitting there in the dark, and my boyfriend teased me about them releasing the killer spiders in some theatres and how this could be one of them. At the time I fell for it. :eek:

I didn't see it in the theater (OMG I would have been a mess! lol)

But I did watch it curled up in a ball on the couch, every inch of me covered with a blanket, except for my eyes... :eek:
 
this made me wonder a bit if the spider would become real once i close that window... i often wonder that kind of thing though.
 
I must admit he was grinning when we left, though part of that may have been what I said we were going to do next. :devil:

Selena have you watched Eight Legged Freaks? Puts spiders in a totally different light. ;)

Now if only there were more good spider movies. I recall there being more good ant movies than spider movies. Well maybe not, I only really think of Them as being a good ant movie and spiders got the two I mentioned already. :cattail:
