For instance, I'm concerned over the push to install faith in our society that's beginning to roll out everywhere. This isn't based on what society wants/needs, it's based on bias skewed toward religion. If I were as some here claim, I'd be on board with it.

Yet I'm not and I'm very concerned that the pendulum has swung too far right because we know where that kind of thing leads. One need only look to the Middle East to see their roving patrols beat people in the street (usually women) for not observing Islam properly. I don't want that here. Nor do I want it's absence.

This position comes from reading/listening to many different points of view instead of only seeking confirmation bias. Something most people do because "it's easy."

Perhaps you dont notice always seeing the people of your race represented in media as protagonists, in positive roles, and in everyday advertising...
Or even having your cultural foods placed in generic supermarket aisles rather than a separate "ethnic" aisle, framing your culture as the default. I mean, everyone goes the "Mexican" aisle for taco shells, salsa? Or the Asian foods aisle for rice, soy sauce?!
What about being able to go for a walk, use public transportaton, or move into a new neighborhood without the fear of being perceived as dangerous or unwelcome because of your race? Cant fathom that because you are white...and male!
