Thought i was pretty obvious when teasing and when aiming for the shins but perhaps not, so.... And having said as much, hoped to be square and done with it. But now I see... Round apologies?? When I piss someone off on purpose, they know it. And, when I do, I don't apologize. I don't start fights, but I don't back down from one, either.

If something I say offends someone, they only have to ask me what I meant to say, before jumping to conclusions of their own. I do have a dry sense of humor, and it can be taken the wrong way.

If I didn't intend to offend in the first place, I don't see the need to apologize. Something misunderstood isn't my fault. The mistake is the other person's jumping to the wrong conclusion without asking what I meant in the first place.

I might be sorry they misunderstood, but no intent to offend needs no apology. No harm, no foul. As I see it, when there is purely no intent, there is purely no foul.

I had a run in with a female on this forum a couple years ago. There was a misunderstanding of my sense of humor and also a jumping to the wrong conclusion.

There was a fun time had by all.
