Jeff is taking a "leave of absence". His father did indeed have a stroke and recently passed away. He is having some problems as you can imagine. If anyone wants anymore information, feel free to email me and I will let you know what I can.

Although not everyone got along with Jeff, after talking to him, I found that the kid has a heart of gold and was very hard to dislike (as much as I wanted to..LOL). This is a traumatic situation for him, as they had no warning and he is pretty much left on his own now. If anyone cares to send him messages, please feel free to send them to my email and I will forward them to him. I'm sure he will respond. He tells me he will be able to check his email, but probably own't be able to get online much for a while.
I'm sure he will appreciate any and all concern.

SS I just got the Email this morning saying that. It's very sad because like you say as much as you want to dislike him you really can't. The poor kid is going through alot right now.
My thought's are with him and I hope that all is well. It would kill me to loose my Father so early and I can only imagine what he is feeling.

Southern I know what you mean. I talk to Jeff on ICQ and email each other. He is a nice young man and is a good friend. I have been praying for him and his family since he told me of his father. It must be hard for him at this young age to go through this. So Jeff honey where ever you are my prayers are with you and so are some of the other Lit members.

Jeffs father had a stroke last week. He passed away Friday evening. Our friend Jeff is in charge of planning the funeral all while he is working on finding a place to live. He will be moving in with a friend of his and his family until he can make better arrangements. He wont be able to visit Lit for sometime but you are all welcome to send him an email. Ill be sure to tell him that everyone was asking about him.

I guess some of you are feeling a little stupid now aren't you? Its OK though DCL, you felt the power man!
There are people that you shouldn't debase - and Jeff was one of them. Regardless of what's happening in his family, you never mock a depressed 20-something virgin that can't get laid about his looks.

I did feel the power, and I've commented elsewhere about what a drug that is, but I don't recall anyone bashing Jeff about his looks -- except Jeff.
