Hmmmm Sculpt original..or there is a kit available if you have a model handy.
Use the paint on mold stuff that you can buy at the ceramics store.
This gives you an inexpensive re-useable mold.

Oh ... And as for the rope... Take a page from a Domme I knew once.. WHen they ask, just raise the eyebrow, look at them like they are a worm, and say "Which isle?".

Though I might recommend a 7/16ths poly with a woven exterior..... It ties and bends well..Is easy to clean... It's cheap, so you can buy a lot for when your imagination is going good.
It is also available in almost all of the home improvement stores..
*grin* Personally I pre-cut mine into lengths..Heat seal, and then tape the ends.
For the record, I buy black, it looks SO nice against pale skin...

This reminds me of a humorous (OK, not so humorous at the time) shopping trip to a tack store for a crop with a former sub. Hmmm FOr that "tied to the bed" thing... Personally I use cuffs... Then I have snap links from the DIY store that have a round rope loop on the other end. Snap links to cuffs, loop around handy bed part, and a clove hitch (or prussic knot if you want to take forever) lets you adjust tension.
It has the advantage of being able to be changed quickly also.
