Hi everyone! :)

We are, as many of you know, working on making Lit more friendly to multiple browsers by trying to make the pages use more valid HTML code. This process has been going on for a while, but today we are testing an updated story page. If you have a spare moment, can you check this page and see if it looks and works ok in your browser:

http://www.literotica.com/stories/showstory.php?id=303231

If you have any problems or anything looks strange, please let me know. Also, if you do have any problems with it, please let me know which browser and version you are using.

Thanks & sorry to bother you! :)

Works fine in my Firefox too, most recent version.

I am curious as to why more than half the screen on Lit is given up to the recognisable-from-a-massive-distance blue lettered screen, though... How come?

I do not see a difference in IE or Firefox or my other (Canadian) browser through Rogers.

Good with Safari (Mac OS 4.10.9)

Of course, you are on trouble on one score...all us authors are now wondering why you picked *that guy's story* to test this with instead of *ours* ;)

Thanks for the feedback so far, everyone - please keep the comments coming. I'm sure someone must have a strange browser/computer that doesn't like the new page? :)

As far as why the page is half blue - that sad story goes back almost 10 years to when everyone had tiny monitors! We have a long term plan to re-do the design once we get a few other things done. Right now, we're trying to make sure that we are using the proper HTML so that everyone can see what they are supposed to see. You wouldn't believe how bad the original HTML was back when we first started the site! Getting better now, though. :)

Thanks again!

Works OK for me in IE, including the links at the end of each page.

Looks good to me, Manu. I'm in the WinXP OS and tried it on both IE7 and the stupid MSN browser that I never use, but since I have it, thought I'd check it for you.

Mine was cool.

Except for that little thing already noted where the filler on the right side of the page seemed to take up too much of the page.

I'm using Safari 2.04 on an Intel iMac, OSX Panther.

All clear on Opera 9.02. But then again, it was no problem earlier either.

Looks good on my IE, XP-Home Edition, NetZero! :D

No bother! Good to see you about the boards! LOL! A little reassurance goes a long way some days!

It works fine on my computer. :) The blue area seems smaller. I don't think I would like it if the print were spread across the whole width of the screen. :catroar:

I knew we could find an issue if enough people looked! :) I will send you a PM about the issue now.

Thanks to everyone else for the comment too - if anyone else notices any problems, please let me know!
