Anyone watch 'The Office'?

I heard that 'The Office' won 2 golden globes, and they're doing a US remake with the same scripts for some reason.

I'm interested to know; do you think it's funny 'cause you can relate to the characters, or is it 'cause you like laughing at fucked up English people?

personally i love it! i can relate to the whole office flirting awkward situation thing myself...that always makes me smile!

it's just very funny and so realistic to the characters found in my office, just slightly exaggerated...exept the flirting bit!

I agree. I see bits of the characters all the time, and it's piss funny.

Why do you think the yanks went mad for it?
