Anyone tried one of the new VR headsets?

For some reason I am really curious about the new virtual reality headsets that are set to bombard the consumer electronics market this year...oculus rift, etc...

Anyone tried them out? What did you think? They had the Samsung one at a best buy I visited last week but the poor clerks couldn't get the thing to run.

They gave me one when I upgraded my phone. Its kind of neat but gives me a headache pretty quick. I played temple run on it and got dizzy. Some of the more stationary apps are cool though. There is one where you are placed in a landscape and can look in all directions.

I can only look at the picture apps. Those would be the ones where you are can see in all directions.

Anything that moves too much makes me sick to my stomach.

Haven't used one for the same reason I won't be seeing Hardcore Henry, those kind of rides make me queasy.

I can't help but think they probably aren't good for one's eyes.
