Anyone seen this yet?

One of the reasons I have always admired Charlie Daniels...he is a straight shooter. In this 'soapbox' he is right on too.

Anyone who uses the term you are either for us or against us is a nut case.

The world is not that simple there is always a middle ground.

Chickenhawk Charlie Daniels

The Devil went down to Texas

(Sung to the Tune of The Devil Went Down to Georgia)

The Devil went down to Texas
A favorite place for him
It has a douche like Charlie D.,
and the big old death pena'ty...

Its governor is squatting
In Wash. DC they say,
While his has-been friend old Charlie D.
Has plenty of stuff to say

Well you see old Charlie never served
In the service that he loves
But he wants your kid to get Saddam
And doesn't like no doves

When the killin' starts, old Charlie D.
Will be sittin' by the tube
Stuffin' his face and cheerin' on
Those dying for this rube

He'll write another letter Callin' Sean Penn a traitor
But him and Shrub will never 'splain
why Saddam couldn't wait til later...

(Chorus)
Fire on the mountain run boy run
Charlie don't care if they kill your son
Stuffin' his fat face, wavin' the flag
Another chickenhawk in a big ole chair...

Charlie Daniels tells it like it is......

Not "P.C." it, so as not to offend someone waiting for a reason to protest.
Fuck that, Americans have always been a in your face people if they have something to say.
Most people with intelligence can see right through the real purpose of this sudden need for "peace."
The whining will only get shriller, the drums beating more, and the socialists more violent, as they realize that their vision of a weakened America, run by the UN, is not going to happen.
Americans are getting tired of their gas, and you'll see it on the street when the war is rolling.

America is 227 years old this year, and we've already had ten wars (the current one makes eleven). That means we've averaged one war every 20 years or so.

I don't really have a point. It's just something to consider.

Here is another thing to think about. America has fought a major conflict every generation and yet each generation's cause seems to be a better one than the one proceeding it. My parents generation faught Vietnam because it had a noble but flawed vision of a democratic south east asia. Their parents faught to stop the axis powers, their parents faught "the war to end all wars". And now, why do we fight? A democratic Iraq (yeah right)? To really disarm Saddam Hussain (remember we sold many of his current weapons technology to him in the mid-1980's)? No...we fight so a president can get reelected and so his friends can make even more money on their oil. This is a shameful action, but I believe we must support our troops...because they are just following orders.
