hello helo, this is following an idea I posted on the Story Ideas board but since this one has a wider veiwership I would like to put it out here.
Both sexychele and I are thinking of developing stories based on the idea of one of the characters being in a wheelchair. Yesterday I was in the supermarket and this foxy lookin' guy was flirting with me (at least, I think he was!) and I didn't pursue it beyond returning the looks, being married and all. But I kept thinking about this dude all afternoon because not only was he nice looking but he was also in a wheelchair. And I got to thinking about how infrequently one sees/reads the sexuality of diasbled folks represented and I thought I might try my hand at writing something.
I know there are people out there who have amputee fetishes but I am sooo not one of them. I would like to try to write a story that is sexy, respectful, and realistic that doesn't fetishize the situation, just involves some good passion between an able-bodied woman and a differently-abled man. But not knowing anyone disabled I can get soem perspective from, I am not sure if I can pull it off successfully.
Anyone out there who has any input they'd like to share, I'd love to hear what you have to say and I'm sure chele would too.
thanks!
