This is my basic problem. I'm a grown man, but apparently I have very delicate hands, and they get crushed to hell everytime I shake hands with anyone over the age of twelve. I'm looking for something to help me develop more strength in my hands so I can have a firmer grip. I would prefer a method that doesn't require me to buy anything, but any reccomendation would be helpful.

besides masterbating as some people on lit might say, trying using a tennis ball and squeezing it as hard as you can and then relaxing your hand, or buy a device from a sports store, they sell little ones that help increase hand strenght, just dont remember the names sorry

Carry a small rubber ball or tennis ball with you all the time -- something that fits your hand. When you're not doing something else, squeeze the ball repeatedly-- like kneading a ball of clay.

That will help develop the muscles in your forearm that control your hand. (There are very few muscles in the hand itself, other than those in the base of the thumb -- that will be developed also.)

I refuse to shake hands because of the same problem

Depending on the situation I either bow, rub noses with the person, curtsy or just wink.

One thing that we did way back in the days of football training for hand strength was to extend our arms out, lay them out on open newspapers & crumple a page with one hand. You might also want to try the tennis ball thing but the one thing good about this exercise is that you'll also develop some forearm strength.

Good luck.

there's a device for guitarists called riffgrip that has individual springs for each finger to exerecise on,you can buy it at a music store.Read what others say and try extending your arms and closing and opening your hand, slowly, without hurt.

When I'm not masturbating or hanging out here I ride dirt bikes. Nothing will wear your hands/wrists/lower arms out quicker than wrestling a 200+ lb. motorcycle around. I use the Gripmaster (described in the above post), got mine at Walmart. Another good exercise is to get a piece of pipe 1 ft long (pvc is fine). Attach a rope about 4' long to it and a bottle with water or something that weighs about a pound for starters to the other end. Stand with your arms extended, and twist the rope up around the pipe. Repeat till it burns

find

a milk cow, milking cows is the best there is for finger and hand strength!!!
