Does anyone know where I can buy online the German version of Each Peach Pear Plum by Janet and Allan Ahlberg please?

A link would be most appreciated.

At first glance it appears that there is no german translation.
I didn't search very deeply, but it seems to be a picture book and as such may not have been translated anyway.
Sorry... ;)

Thank you so much for the reply.

There is text in the book but I think you're right about it not being translated into German.

Thanks again :)

got it.

Try it at Amazone. de, search for "Suchen-suchen-Pflaumenkuchen-Janet-Ahlberg"
I have to confess that its a used copy they offer there. However, there exists a german translation. The german lyrics are by Josef Guggenmoos.

www.amazon.de/Suchen-suchen-Pflaume...0601/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1287958300&sr=8-1

By the way, I am just curious, what is your interest in the german issue of that book?
And why do they ask for 84,-- EURO for it?

Ohh, so it is available! Thank you for the information :):rose:

I have no idea why it's so expensive. Maybe it's a first edition?

The reason I'm looking for it is, my daughter-in-law is German and she's about to give birth to my Grandaughter.

I've bought the English version of this book for my other two Grandchildren and thought it would be nice if I could get the German version for her, as we would like her to be bilingual.
