can a female take viagro or is there a female version when my man takes it he seems to stay so horny for hours any help welcome

Viagra is NOT for women. It is male hormones. I have heard recently that they are working on a female version, but I am uncertain as to whether or not it is available yet.

I don't think that the female version of Viagra is out yet. You may want to check with your doctor or your gynecologist for the best advice on this one

anyone help

if there is no equivelent to viagro do es anyone know anything at all with the same affect for us girls

I received some "spam" the other day that says there is a natural female version comparable to viagra.

I also have heard of women using it, but would not recommend it. Medically not recommended.

Isn't the CHOCOLATE the female equivalent of viagra?! :-D
(giggle) Works for me...
Or for those who have a death wish, theres always ecstacy.

viagra is not a hormone...it was actually developed as a heart medication to treat angina because it can dilate the blood vessels that supply the heart...(which is why it is contraindicated if used concurrently with nitrates, which have the same effect...the two used together have led in several cases to fatal MI...)

imagine the excited surprise at the Pfizer corp when they realized that it actually dilated blood vessels a bit farther...er...south, if you will...

instead of "another" heart drug, they found themselves with a wonder drug for a society always looking for the magic bullet and instant gratification

as with most meds, the early tests for this drug were done in males, and because of the early responses, the company focused hard (so to speak) on getting it to market as quickly as possible...from that point on, until it received FDA approval, virtually all studies were done in males

after it became available, some anecdotal evidence began to surface about it having similar effects in females...there is some logic to this, as increased blood flow to the clitoris, for example, could lead to stronger, more sustained orgasms

unfortunately, the first controlled studies on its use in women have failed to support the anecdotes...i've heard of no new drug in the works for women, but i haven't actually researched this either

Bleah!!

Skip the drugs...whatever happened to foreplay?

:p

It's been available for ages - it's a potent mixture of expensive perfume, flowers, diamonds and slow massages:D

You are female ... no doubt about it!!!!!!!

There is a herb called Maca Maca that is reputed to be a female aphrodisiac. i haven't actually tried it (i'm horny enough as it is), but i've read some really good reports/research on it.

I was reading an article in Mari Claire a while back and this woman was talking about some cream , I forgot the name of it tho:confused:

The cream if you appiled it down there .. ya know would help you climax easier it would stimulate ... but I don't think that would fall under making you horny

Wha ?!? LOL

After I had our second child, I would have rather jumped out of a 10 story building than make love, have sex whatever you want to call it. I did some research mostly because my honey and I were fighting constantly about it, guys a clue PICKING A FIGHT ABOUT NOT GETTING ENOUGH IS NOT LIKELY TO HAVE THE DESIRED EFFECT.

Anywayyy... I found several things that are supposed to help step up libido.Maca is one of them, also avena sativa, damiana, muira purama and I have found a supplement called Same that works great for me. It is supposed to reset seratonin levels in the brain and somehow it also increases libido if your seratonin levels are whacked like mine were. You might look into the possibility that you hormones are messed up too. There are several books out by Dr. Lee that address this you can pick the one that applies to you based on your age and such.

Nessus has a point too. I might have been more interested if I had my other needs met first. Some affection for me as a person then for me as sex object.

One more thing Viagra has some very serious possible side effects. Beware!
