I just thought I'd give a shot to seeing if any literotica members headed to Myrtle for bike week this year would like to email/talk/share suggestions for socializing etc. I have gone with friends for a number of years (although I'm not a motorcycle owner) and enjoy it a lot and like riding (again although I don't have many opportunities). Wouldn't mind talking with biking enthusiasts in general also. Email Brie9@cs.com

...yeah Derya, headin' down Sat, next week finally. Didn't go to daytona this year, and seems like May has been a long time gettin' here.
Never been to bike week before, but have Myrtle, altho it has been years, anxious to see how its changed.
Lookin' forward to it...

....Ride safe, and always take the long way home...

Snake1500 you'll enjoy Myrtle and be quite surprised by how much it has changed if it has been a number of years since you visited. I'll suggest checking out Broadway At the Beach for socializing...it's on the Highway 17 bypass between 21st and 29th streets. They usually have classic rock bands in the center of Broadway between all of the nightclubs on Thurs. Fri. and Sat. One of the clubs is Revolutions and their format is 70's 80's music it's a lot of fun, a dance club with a little bit older crowd. One of the best though is Crocodile Rocks Piano bar. They have dueling pianos and the performers are excellent, the crowd really gets into it, and they get WILD. It's all requests and the shots are good there too. Also the two SBBs and the Ironhorse (Suck, Bang, Blow) (all down Highway 17) are great. The Dogg House North and South for late evening hanging out. There's plenty more I'm sure that I'm not familiar with especially bike wise.

Also I note from this and other posts that you are from VA and that you and your wife ride. I also am in SW VA (my guess is maybe same region), did not know if you all were traveling with a group of friends. I don't have a motorcycle, but enjoy riding if there are any in your group who would welcome a rider (safe, sober drivers only of course :)) I welcome opportuniteis for making new friends to hang out with and enjoy motorcycles and the bike rally in general. I note you do not get emails from the board, so if you like you may email me at Brie9@cs.com...and definitely have a good, safe, and fun time. Thanks for answering my post.

What are the dated for Bike Week?
It's definately a good time and I'd certainly consider attending again. I'm in Charleston, SC a couple hour drive.

Let me know if you go to the Kick'n Horse- only about half hour away!

Harley week is 5/9 this coming Saturday kicks it off through 5/18. If you've been before you know it really gears up mid-week. Do you ride?

I take it the Kick'n Horse is somewhere you frequent (1/2 hr from Charleston or Myrtle?). I'm also assuming it is South of Myrtle. I actually traveled up from Charleston to Bike Week last year. Have relatives in Charleston and stayed a couple of days there. For when I visit Charleston in the future...what are good bars/nightclubs there?

And since you've been to Bike Week before where do you hang out...what do you suggest for fun at Myrtle?

Sorry it took so long to relpy. You've probably already left for the weekend.

When I read your post I think I interpreted the Ironhorse as the same bar as the Kick'n Horse. (Too many horse bars!). Kick'n Horse saloon is in Awendaw, SC somewher between Myrtle and Charleston.

There is a good bar on Folly Beach in Charleston the next time you visit- the Sand Dollar. Bikers are most welcome. Do a thread search for South Carolina and you will see my "Tour Guide" post for a beach companion:devil:
