Anyone from the UK?

I got the Geordie accent going on. Its a bit softer now out of laziness amd living down south for the last 16 years

Most accents fall into 2 areas. North or South. The test word I use is how people say "gas" as in for cooking. Is it "gars" or "gas"? The same applies to "wank". I have never had a "warnk".
Yeah, but then you get those confused people who say "gas marsk"

I have never heard anyone say gars - and I have lived in Chelsea :)
Glad someone said it I was beginning to worry that I was going mad. Never ever heard "gars".

Barth, perhaps.

I married a Yorkshire lass. Our baby may be confused...but we live in the South so it is mummy who speaks weird mwhahaha

I went to uni just north of London and I was called Northern. But I don't consider myself as northern. I'm from the Mids. But that excludes me in the same camp as Brummies. That's a whole different kettle of fish!
