It was drying out, from a wet 'stormin' but it's one of those pop-up things, it pops up instantly but popping it down takes a 20 stone contortionist with very long arms. I have none of the attributes. But, I'm sure after fish and chips and 2 YouTube videos I'll have the strength and know how to tackle it again

I've never camped in one as I've generally camped in 4 man tents and bigger, but I have helped put a lot of the pop up tents down. There is a knack, and once you've got it, you'll question how you ever struggled. Good luck. If I wasnt a thousand miles away in Devon, I'd offer to help.

Love me some kidneys flash fried in oil with garlic and chilies with crispy bacon , black pudding and poached eggs on crumpets for breakfast or any time really.

Not a fan of liver though.

I love liver too if it's still pink and bacon crisped in the microwave. I have a lovely recipe for kidneys in a cooked down, spicy tomato sauce with bell peppers, onions, Tabasco and Worcester sauce, I have it with pasta. Delicious.

Would not be eating fish / sea food from round this septic isle for some time.
Steak and Kidney pudding , chips large , all the gravy and many mushy peas.

It's OK most of the Fish we consume in the UK is not caught in UK waters, mainly France, Also you won't have to worry soon because most Chippy's will have to close because they won't be able to pay there Electric Bills.

Yes, almost! I prefer my butter cream, mostly icing sugar and extremely coffee flavoured. I make a good one. But only for special occasions, I'd be the size of a house if I ate them often and on my own

Sounds like we need a gathering for a steak and kidney dinner followed by coffee and walnut cake. (I’ll just fish the kidneys out of my portion and pass them on) All we need is a venue and a date!

Kidneys! Yum! It's even difficult to find a decent snake and pigmy pie. Shop bought ones are usually lacking in gravy but have soggy bottoms. Up until covid there was a pie shop here, charlie would make a pie to order. Sadly he's closed down.

Maybe I need to batch cook and make a few. I love the suet pudding versions too, the 'babies heads' as they were called in't Navy. They microwave well too.

I suspect we're going to lose more shops that have high energy consumption, unless the government do something to ease their burden.
