Yes, Sauerland is on that list too. Hürtgenwald was new but is now on the list as well.
Yes, it will be some kilometers....... But I have traveled several times though Germany and is familiar with the distance. And I'm no stranger to take the Autobahn if necessary to save some time. I think a week from northern Italy (Trieste) to Scania should be enough.
