In terms of the act, Lit would (to my understanding) be considered such because it has pics and audio. Hence the concern.

It's less about the gov blocking sites from today, as that would be highly unlikely, more whether the site wants to geoblock the UK to avoid the conssequences of being found in rbeach of the act. If they are in breach of the ac then I guess they go through a process of consulting with site owners eventually leading to a huge fine and or being blocked by UK isps or wahtever.

The UK doesn’t have jurisdiction in the US. And the US are not interested in applying our laws there as they’ve demonstrated on numerous occasions. So I think it’ll be a damp squib.
