I know I am very fortunate to be able to aim for my goals, but the job I have will kill me if I need to stay until retirement age and I am too bloody old to look for something else.

Have you ever sought financial advice on the retirement topic? I would do that before I give up entirely.

Its a looooong time ago since I watched Bagpuss on the telly.

Bagpuss was indeed an old cloth cat, along with mice from the mouse organ. When Bagpuss woke all the "animals" in the workshop woke and fixed things.
