Whilst I know I'm heating my home and paying for it, it's to my preferred temperature and I don't have to fight with others to agree the temp (the office was always on the cold side precovid).

I am also glad I don't have to risk life and limb on the road with other idiots driving too fast and not understanding that the stuff on the floor is slippery.

In leaving the Alps. We had -17°C tonight, now we're at cozy -9.
I love travelling by train, especially when rolling through winter wonderland. Ok, my train is late, and I will probably miss my connection, but who cares? Winter is so beautiful outside.
