Good evening everyone, bit of a random question but what's the difference between polygamous and an open relationship lol

Polygamous means that you are in a serious relationship with more than one person and everyone involved is aware of the others, often has met, vetted, approved of the others. They are a family.
Open means not monogamous, free to include others. Every relationship has its own agreements. The main thing is that all participants understand what’s going happen and their position or lack one in the relationship.
