It's an all-in-one Instant Messaging program...From the single program, you can run AIM, IRC, Yahoo, ICQ, and MSN...it's badass.

I have used trillian in the past and found it was good.
But because my computer needs more memory
I had to ditch it. My computer couldn't keep up! :D

I  Trillian, it rules! Let RastaPope show you the light people, there is a better way!!

<Nods> Been using it for months, and have uninstalled all those other clients wasting my HD space. Great program!

Lacks some of the functionality of the other programs individually... like MSN's group meetings and Yahoo's Video/Voice Conferencing... but other than that, it's great.

I've used it but haven't been overly impressed with it. I also have a few friends on Yahoo with webcams and I wasn't ready to give that up :D

Okay folks enlighten me here... does Trillian have voice chat or not???

I just installed it a few weeks ago and I have to say so far I am liking it.

One more vote for it.........course the only down side is that now I sometimes end up with 4 or 5 people talking to me at the same time...LOL.....

It is really cool though, at least on the PC side of things. Now if only they would release a MAC version so I could use it on both machines.

Nic,

If only it could handle webcams and file transfers perfectly... sure as hell saves memory, rather than running 3 or 4 chat programs in the background

What he said. I keep the other programs for when I need those functions, but other than that it's easier just having the one pgrm running.

Trillian can handle file transfers, but it depends on which messanger service you are engaging because they each have their own protocols and Trillian does not support ALL of the file tranfer protocols of each messenger service. You would have to look at the documentation to see exactly which applications are supported. I have transfered files with ICQ via Trillian.
