Anyone else see Chirac make himself look like a fool this morning?

George Stephawhateverhisnameis interviewed him on ABC this morning, and to his credit pressed French Foreign Minister Dominique de Villepin pretty hard on Iraq. He bobbed, weaved, and ducked all the questions thrown at him. His best line was how the vast majority of the French people love the US and are thankful every day for our part in the Wrold Wars.

He's an embarrassment.

My mistake - it was French Foreign Minister Dominique de Villepin.

It's so nice of them to acknowledge our help ....

I missed that part. I did see the very interesting statistics about how much of our oil comes from Iraq. Nice to know that we get almost 8 times as much from Canada, Mexico, and Venezuela. Since this war is all about oil, i guess we'll be invading one of them after Iraq.

I think Blair has hidden all ours...

His what? You're so adept with the language I can barely stand it. He edited his post to admit he'd mis-labeled the interviewee.

I truly feel safer knowing LK's on the case. NOTHIN' gets past him. *grin*

Well, peeps, there lies one more difference between us. I admit a mistake.

I suggest you do the same. You have an awful lot of catching up to do, you supercilious windbag.

Yep, but it's some leap to make from Chirac to French Foreign Minister Dominique de Villepin...

Admitting he made a mistake is not enough. A mistake of that magnitude needs a grovelling attitude at least...

:p

Quite a leap? They're both spineless Euroworms.
