Anyone else have a nightmare time attempting to upgrade to the new iPhone 6s?

I got a 6 last month. No problem at all except it's huge! I'm not comfy anymore putting it in my back pocket like the 4s.

Wait, you got a 6S already?

Shits ain't supposed to ship until next week!

What's the problem? You give Tim Cook too many dollars, he gives you a phone.

Actually I'm using a little piece of my Apple dividend along with the resale of my iPhone 5s to pay for my 128gb 6s Plus, so technically, they're paying me.

I meant securing a pre-order. I have the grandfathered unlimited data plan through AT&T. When I got through to Apple about upgrading at 2:30am, I found out they can't sell the AT&T 2-year plan iPhone anymore. I had to go to ATT.com to do it.

Went there and their site did not give me an option to choose my legacy plan. The online chat operator told me to pick any of the plans & then gave me a number to call a "Specialist" that can set it back to my unlimited plan. As I continued online, I also could not change the shipping address. Again the online chat operator said that could be changed over the phone.

Third, the website said that I could not transfer my cellphone number to the new phone. Completed my order at 4am & it said delivery would be between Oct 16-23rd.

Called the number and find out there were no operators until 7am.

Called when I woke up & spoke to the first "specialist". She ended up canceling my order so I could do it again with her on the line to help me do it "right". Same thing happened and she said that she can't change the plan or shipping address. She said that she would transfer me to someone that could do it. She said that she would explain the details to the new operator and then transfer me.

Got a new operator, previous operator DID NOT explain what was going so I had to explain it all over again. Eventually got around to the realization that operator two could not help me as well. So I was transferred twice more (each time having to reexplain my situation) before getting disconnected.

Cancelled that 2nd order & went to a brick & mortar AT&T store to reserve a new iPhone which took about 30 minutes.
