Where will our poor soldiers get their waffles from for breakfast??!!!

Belgium: population: 10,274,595; GDP: $259 billion; Defense: 1.5% of GDP
Czech: population: 10,218,000; GDP: $132 billion; Defense: 2.1% of GDP

I found this blurb in The Journal of Military Ordnance amusing, comparing the two nation's armed forces:

Czech Republic: 53,000 troops, 652 tanks, 1,211 APC's, 839 artillery, 97 combat aircraft, 51 helicopters
Belgium: 38,000 troops, 140 tanks, 565 APC's, 282 artillery, 135 combat aircraft, 46 helicopters.

And Germany and France make fun of us for having countries like Czech, Poland, Hungary, Slovak, Romania, and Bulgaria on our side. And who would it be we would rather have on our coalition during a war???
