yeah i got that too...
i started playing that first but i didnt like it because it didnt keep up with stats/records(wins an loses). that's why i like scrabble better

Comment: I hear an interview on nthe radio the other day with a guy who claims the scoring system is way out of date and came up with a new modern system. The "Scrabble community" went crazy negative about it. Ever thought about it?

Same here. His claim was that the inventor had just gone through books and newspapers, counted up the frequency of letters and assigned scores on that basis.
He thinks that because the language has changed and that there are so many special words allowed that the system is disfunctional so he created a new one.
I did not catch the guy's name but you might come across it sometime.
