anybody use FireFox ?

I use FireFox for browsing ~ but would love to know if there is a way to clear all browsing history and address bar ~~ I have used the option on Firefox ~ but address still stay in the address box ~~ What am I doing wrong?

I used firefox for awhile before switching over to google chrome, a better browser but thats just my opinion that has zero to do with your question.

What I found worked best on firefox was this...

Clear your history as normal
then
pull down your address bar (just type www.)

You should see all recent addresses. Move your mouse to the one you don't want then press shift and delete together and the address will be deleted.

thanks for the replies ~ finally got it figured out ~ (thanks MacDaddy, rbone, and travellingwilly)

I may check out Chrome ~ know several ppl that I play games with on Facebook also use it and like it much better than Firefox.

the firefox/mozzilla i'm using has an option for private browsing at the top left corner, if that helps?

Press firefox
then hover over options
press options
a new window will open. click the 'privacy' tab.
at the bottom there should be a heading that says 'location bar' and under this you can change whether firefox predicts websites from either your history, your bookmarks, both, or neither.

I always have mine set to only predict from my bookmarks, so that all the useful stuff is still predicted, like facebook, but the porn site I visited five minutes ago will not.
