Anybody know any sites accepting sci-fi novel submissions?

~this thread has been moved from GB due to having 3 reads in as many days (potentially because it had nothing to do with marriage requests or on-line RPGs :p )

Hi all,

Does anyone know of any story sites that are geared more towards science fiction and/or novel-length stories? My novel The Fallen has been on-line here since mid-October and since then I have nad no feedback at all. AFAIK the only people who have read it thru are my editor (you know who you are :p ) and Laurel, who incidentally gave it an E ;)

Anyhow, I guess its length and genre makes my story unsuitable for the majority of Lit readers. If there readers out there looking for sci-fi novels then there must be sites catering for them - if anyone can point me in the right direction I would be grateful, as I'd really like to get some feedback on this story - I poured 8 months life and soul into it, which is beginning to feel all for nothing.

This isn't a dig a Lit at all, as I appreciate that most readers here are not looking for the sort of thing I'm writing. This is really a call for help!!

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help,

Ax

Electronic Wilderness Publishing has a Science Fiction section.

It's a fairly young site, but it is organized for long sagas and novels with little or no erotic content.

Slavemaster, go here: Ralan.com

Ralan is awesome, and I see his site as my bible. He lists many publishers, both within the Sci-Fi and Horror genres, and also the calls for submissions for many anthologies and other requests from both small press and mass market publishing houses. As well as many online webzines and other forms of online publishing.

Have fun looking around it, I've spent hours on that site in the past.

I know that you ask for online sites, but why not take the plunge? It only costs some cover letters, postage, a bit of time. Gain some experience, learn a little tidbit new........

You did not say if there was any romance, or erotic content in your novel, but if there is here is a link that might interest you.

:Tor's new Paranormal Romance call for submissions

Thanks Omni,

I'd love to try and get this or something else published, but really want some feedback on it before I get to that stage. I'll be sure to check out these links very soon.

The story does have a high degree of romance and erotic content, as a necessity to the plot development as much as for titilation or 'strokeability'
