We are working on a new section of Lit for illustrations and comics. It's currently in BETA testing, but the feature was delayed a bit because of some other issues that came up.

If you are looking to submit illustrations with a text story (not on their own), you can submit them to the Illustrated Stories category. There is a FAQ question about how to submit those here:

Photographs also have these rules: Legally, we can allow soft nudity in photographs, but under current United States law, photographs posted on this site may not contain "sexually explicit conduct", which the government defines as:

- Actual or simulated:
(A) sexual intercourse, including genital-genital, oral-genital, anal-genital, or oral-anal, whether between persons of the same or opposite sex;
(B) bestiality;
(C) masturbation;
(D) sadistic or masochistic abuse; or

I must admit I've never understood the above rule.

There's probably fifty picture threads on the GENERAL BOARD that feature many of the things listed above (see below for a few examples). What gives? Why are they not covered by this law? Could someone clarify this for me?​

The forum has the same rule (see the link to Forum Rule #2). It just isn't being enforced. It includes a ban on hotlinking any copyrighted photos (Rule #3), so a lot of the photos you yourself post to the forum should go, according to the rules. It's just that the forum isn't closely monitored or even that copyrighted material is erased by the Web site when it's reported.

Those rules apply to photographs. Illustrations should be alright, unless it's obvious the people involved are very young. As for the photos appearing on the GB, such as Nipples or Hottest Asians, those are copyrighted works, and would be expected to be only of persons at least 18 years old. Occasioally, one of them is removed by the copyright holder, but most of them are left alone. Maybe the owners of the copyrights don't object to them being here, since they are basically free advertising.

Besides that, anybody can go to places on this site and click on advertisements and find pictures or videoclips of all kinds of pornographic images. The people owning those images pay to have people have this access.
