Calm down and assess the situation. Are you "letting him down" because he's asking too much? Are his expectations realistic, given your situation? If its an issue of flat out disobedience (to otherwise reasonable requests), WHY are you resisting? (That takes a little blunt soul searching.) And finally, what are the odds he's manipulating the situation (you've dissappointed me, AGAIN) to get what he wants, regardless of the impact it has on you?

Once you've reassed things, talk to him. Not as D/s, but as people working through a relationship hiccup. IMO the willingness to get to the root of the issue and find actionable ways to fix things, *should* please a partner.
