I'm new here, obviously. It's kind of intimidating to post on the threads that already have tons of pages and where everyone seems to know each other. I don't know how it's possible to be shy even online, but I am.

A little about me - I'm 31 (for another few weeks, anyway) and an English teacher in Korea, though originally from the US. I've read the stories on Lit for years, and have lurked on the boards for awhile, but just started posting recently. Hoping to make some new friends, though I don't really know how that works online.

Just mostly wanted to say hi.

Hello cheeky and welcome to the wonderful and addictive world of Lit lol.... I was new once myself and everyone made me feel very welcomed.... I hope you have a great time on here and hell don´t be shy we all flirt and have fun with each other.... If you are curious about anything try it.... you´ll be surprised at how good things feel once you start lol.... Welcome again ;)

 Sheena

*shyly pokes the n00b and puts her hand up*

I's shy too

Just jump in! Don't worry about the fact that threads look like they've gone on forever... just join in and introdue yourself.... and if there's some.. ahem, nookienookie going on, just do what the rest of us do, grab a bucket of popcorn and sit quietly and watch...unless you wanna join in

Welcome to your new addiction :nana:

cheeky...

i know exactly what you mean. i'm just starting to get to a point where i can post on things. i found it easier to stick to the playground mostly, but i suppose it could be different for other people.

Welcome Cheeky and Darkknight....everyone here on the playground our very friendly....or should I say most of 'em!! Jump in and have fun....you will soon have friends from all over. I, too, lurk alot but post at times. You soon won't be able to help yourself...your fingers will take over!!! :rose:

Just jump right on in! Most people here are incredibly friendly and you will find yourself with a little "Lit family," in no time.

And don't believe a word of what Ms Asian_Princess says...She's certainly NOT shy...but certainly IS a sweetie!

Welcome to Lit oh cheeky one.

You'll have a blast and forget all about being shy.

Just watch out for the hairy ones.

:D

Hi, cheeky :rose: I'm still very much the newbie myself - I've only been posting on Lit for about two weeks now, I think. I know exactly what you mean about being intimidated and sometimes afraid to jump in - but in my experience, I've found most folks here to be incredibly friendly and welcoming. No one really bites (unless you request it!) and I think the more you start to post, the easier you'll find it to come out of your shell!

Welcome to Lit, hon. :rose:

I'm a 'noob' ( kinda :p ) and shy myself. but my mouth and my fingers show another side, prove me wrong everytime...lol. Just jump in, there are so many nice folks here at LIT, you'll soon feel like a pro, I promise. ;)

If you have questions feel free to ask.. :rose:

"Welcome to the show!" :D

Just jump on in and chat! Hehehe we all like meeting new people...thus why we're here

Welcome Cheeky....not too shy, but know the feeling, but there is no other way to get to it, then to do it....hit us anytime.....don't be shy to hit a thread or two....or three. :nana:

Thanks everyone for the welcomes, and hello to the other newbies (though I think some that claimed to be new are fibbing a bit).

Now how many posts do I need to make to stop being a virgin? Didn't particularly like losing my virginity the first time, didn't think I'd have to do it again years later ;)

Everyone else has already given good advice so ill just say hi and welcome to lit. Hope to see ya around the boards. This really is a great group of people

welcome, cheekygirl. hope you enjoy your time here. most of the people are pretty nice, unless you venture onto the General Board. you better wear some body armor and a helmet if you do that. ;)

I think I remember reading somewhere that it takes about 30 posts to no longer be a virgin, so you're almost there. we'll try to be gentle... just relax and try to enjoy it.

Welcome to Lit and the Playground. :rose: Just watch out for verts...especially me..... ;)
