I think once I read of a sheathing that slides conveniently onto the penis without straps, increasing dimensions drastically. Lacking in experience with this on indeed strap-ons generally I couldn't afford these ventures any reviews however, I was once asked to use something resembling a chinese finger trap that contained a variety of different sized marbles. Yes, I have done that a couple of times with my girlfriend.
She and I wanted to try the DP thing and it actually worked pretty well. I used a regular (I guess) strap on, with a smallish dildo (6"X1.5") that I used for the anal portion of the experiment.
We ordered it especially for the DP experiment, it wasn't that expensive and the harness part wasn't built very well, but it served the purpose.

I've also modified a leather harness to allow the use of a dildo at the same time. It was simply a matter of cutting a second hole above the original harness hole. The base of the dildo rests against my pubic bone.
