Any ideas or requests for Hammer Horror-type stories?

I'm finishing up two serials right now. One is a fairly conventional monster adventure yarn with a sexual angle, but the other I am getting more sucked into and I think it's more the kind of stuff I want to write: turn of the century (i.e. late 1800s to early 1900s), atmospheric and romantic, with a horror/fantasy underbelly. So like Hammer flicks if they morphed into porn periodically. The current project is a werewolf thing playing with all the classic tropes... I really don't want to bother with vampires, just been done to death. Other ideas you'd like to see?

There was one, and I can't remember the title, but it went something like this, a wealthy baron brings his new bride to his castle. He is supposed to be a doctor and she is to be his research assistant. But he is not a doctor, it is his brother, who secretly lives at the castle as well. The brother is disfigured somehow, burned, or something like that. He becomes obsessed with the new bride, and watches her( no cameras, this is in the 19th century, so just peep holes). He drugs her at night and takes her to a dungeon where he strips her naked. But he never has sex with her. In the end the brothers come to blows and the evil one is killed. I think the female lead was a Playboy Playmate or something like that. The movie was around 1970ish. Why not take that scenario and add more sex to it?

The other would have to be Baron Blood! Elke Somers in that mini skirt!! A whole lot more sex with her as the lead!!!

A fellow fan, I love it! I believe I've seen the first one you describe but I can't for the life of me remember the title. But that's a good basic framework for a story. The only question is how not to make it too rapey, which is not really my thing (and can be difficult with paranormal stories). I'll have to mull that one over.

What's a Hammer horror story?

Hammer was a British movie studio that made lots of classic horror movies in the fifties and sixties. Often they were updated remakes of classic Universal horror films, like Dracula and Frankenstein, and many of them starred Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee. They all had a certain "look" about them that is hard to describe, but equally hard to forget!

Very much so - lush, vibrant colors and often set in these big, old castles and chapels and so forth. They had the appearance that something equally romantic and lurid was just about to happen (and often did). Great movies.
