Any fans of Highlander out there?

I'm a die-hard fan of the series, but I only liked the first film (of the next two, especially the second, I'd rather forget they ever happened ) and as for Endgame, I found that quite lacking too.

I never saw the last one. Head it was pretty lame and so haven't seen it.

Enjoyed the movies

ADORED the series (have most of the first 3 years on tape) and got to meet Adrian Paul (meow!) at a con here in town some years ago. The whole premise of a Highlander coming into this time period, or better yet, of going back through a portal into early Scotland is a fantasy close to my heart. I enjoyed the first two years of the series the best, when he was with Tess. Wasn't as fond of his doctor gf, but Amanda is always a kick. They had great chemistry.

I've watched two episodes of his new series, The Tracker, but can't get into it at all. I miss Duncan MacLeod

Yes, I loved the series too, especially fourth and fifth seasons. Haven't seen any Tessa episodes. I loved all the basic characters in this show, especially Methos and Joe (following MacLeod of course ). God, I miss this show!

Oh, and Kurgan is my favorite villain too. Closely followed by Kronos and Kallas (how I loved it when a baddie gave Dunkan a kick in his divine butt! )

it was made by a different writer and they fucked up the storie. they changed the rules... since when the fuck do the highlanders come from another dimention??????

I enjoyed the series with Adrian Paul. The movies with that French guy, whats-his-name, well, he's just not manly enough to pull off the part. I take one look at him and think, I could kick that guy's ass, take his sword, and cut his head off in a heartbeat. For crying out loud, he all but speaks with a lisp.

"Hi there, ohhh, you're so strong looking. Can't we, you know, just a little before we fight? Oh I love what you've done with that sword. And your scabbard..."

Nice first movie

Highlander 1 is one of my favorite movie of all time. I love the way Russell Mulcahy make the scene transition..... I love the music score too done by Queen.

The Kurgan was awesome. Loved the movies, most of the tv episode got better as they went on. Couldn't stand the second series.

As for the movies.... There were three different versions with different editing and ending. The american was by far the worse. The renegade version was little better. Three was almost a rehashing of one and as for four. I always hoped they would bring back Heather & Rachael, but the overall story line was quite lacking. Good battle scenes, but hard to get that "Kind of magic" with the rest.

There can be only one, and three sequals, and two tv series, and a cartoon version.. UGH.

Love the first movie and the series, but the rest left me cold especially the new series and the third movie. Avoid buying the first movie on DVD too... it is shit, and the sound quality is better on VHS.

Do I like Highlander? Well..for Mother's day 2 years ago I got a katana!

I am huge fan of the first movie, for me Connor is THE Highlander. The sequels...don't get me started! I especially missed Queen doing the music in the sequels, but then again I'm as big a Queen fan as I am of Highlander.

I watched the series and enjoyed it for the most part, drooled over Duncan more than few times..but my heart will always be with Connor.

Adrian Paul I enjoyed the first 1 QUEEN doing the soundtrack completely KICKS ASS!!!
I didn't get around 2 actually watching the series which is a real bummer
i didn't see the 2nd 1 or the 3rd 1, have seen the last 1 a few times and actually liked it! can't get enough of ole' DUNCAN SWINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG!!!

Of the movies I only liked the first one. I was heart broken when the series ended. loved Tess.

The series with his last girlfriend with out the Highlander sucked.

I can't believe I'm saying this....

...but I don't really want another Highlander movie! Well, not unless they decide to take it seriously for a change. I was so disappointed by Endgame. The only good thing about that movie (except for Adrian Paul <droooooool>... ) was the Adrian Paul/Christophe Lambert interaction. And since there's probably not going any of that in the new film (no, no, I won't get into spoilers! ), I say a new Highlander is doomed.
