Any eBay addicts here?

I have a friend who is obsessed with eBay. He spends hours there daily. And spends a fortune! I keep telling him he can have twice the fun for FREE here at Lit! LOL

Anybody here addicted to the auction place? (although I can't imagine anyone finding enough time in the day to have addictions to both places!) What have you bought?

I was. Until I found Lit. Really. Now I get there to check a few particular categories maybe once a week. I have gotten some great deals on things I collect which would take me years of hunting through shops to find otherwise. And I found some things at eBay that I DID hunt through shops for years and never found! If you're looking for a particular item, try eBay. It is likely to be there.

Not an addict, but I am currently watching some auctions on a few dolls I have been looking for. I have friends who practically live on eBay, though. Some of the stuff on eBay is interesting, the adult site especially.

I admit it! I am an Ebay fanatic!

Ok well not really, but when I am looking for something in particular, I can usually get it much cheaper there than in a store.

I also make stuff, (Giftbaskets, dreamcatchers other crafts) and I sell them on Ebay. I use the profit from that to pay for the supplies to make the things I sell, and then what is left from that I save in my paypal account over a period of time. Then when I want to auction on something I use that. So I'm not spending anything on ebay except that.

Anime! I collect anime cels and have bought and sold a few on e-bay. It's been a great tool to help me find the people that sell cels in general, so I find I don't buy auction as much as buying directly from the sellers.

I have only been there once or twice. Didn't even know they had an adult section. I do know that they have hard to find items that I have been searching for too, Cheyenne. I just loved that link that shows the odd things people will try to sell!

Not exactly the same scenario, but I did buy something from someone who turned out to be a neighbor(just around the corner) from my old cyberparter who lives about 5 states away from me! When I saw the address to send the check to, I had a momentary heart flutter.

I am most definitely an Ebay junky. I have bought stuff on Ebay for a house that isn't even built yet. I enjoy shopping from home and I am much too impatient to garage sale in RL so Ebay is the best of both worlds. I alternate my days between here and Ebay so that I don't miss out too much on any one place. This world satisfies one need and Ebay satisfies the other. I get to have my cake and eat it too.
