If Cruz succeeds at nothing else, he never fails to amuse.
An award-winning culture author is topping Amazon's bestsellers after Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, chided his "Antiracist Baby" children's book as an example of critical race theory during the Senate confirmation hearing for Ketanji Brown Jackson.
Cruz attempted to use the 24-page board book as a political prop during his remarks to Jackson, a Supreme Court justice nominee who is poised to become the first Black woman to serve on the highest court.
“Do you agree with this book that is being taught to kids that babies are racist?” he asked Tuesday, arguing that the book, and others like it, were being used to promote tainted views on race in some schools.
Jackson responded no child should be made to feel like they're racist or don't have value.
