So I had this idea and we shall see how it goes, probably up in flames, but you never know.

You need to respond to each poster's "comment" ONLY with a lyric from a song and must identify the artist it comes from. Obviously if it makes sense it will flow better.
I'll start us.

I'll never be your beast of burden. (Rolling Stones)

Better run through the jungle. Whoa dont look back to see - Creedance Clearwater Revival

We posted at the same time. I'll reply to you too.

Welcome to the jungle! (Guns N Roses)

Wanted dead or alive... Bon Jovi

And they’re pointing at the pile of birds in the yard that you hid behind the shed in the corner of the yard
The dead birds you collected and hid in the yard that your neighbour set fire to in the corner of the yard

Also some of you instead of sharing lyrics are just sharing song names which you can do in the music match thread. Stop being lazy.

And how can you mend a broken heart?
How can you stop the rain from falling down?
How can you stop the sun from shining?
What makes the world go round?
How can you mend this broken man?
How can a loser ever win?
Please help me mend my broken heart and let me live again

Bee Gees

Picture perfect memories
Scattered all around the floor
Reaching for the phone 'cause, I can't fight it anymore
And I wonder if I ever cross your mind
For me it happens all the time
Lady Antebellum

I’m never alone
I look at my phone
If I call you up
You’re never at home
I love you all the time

Hello, it's me
I've thought about us for a long, long time
Maybe I think too much but something's wrong
There's something here that doesn't last too long

Todd Rundgren

You better think (think) think about what you're trying to do to me
Yeah, think (think, think), let your mind go, let yourself be free.

Aretha Franklin

Never thought about tomorrow
Seemed like a long time to come
How could I be so blind, baby
Not to see you were the one

J Geils Band

Whoo, and baby, baby, I'd rather, I'd rather be blind, boy
Than to see you walk away, see you walk away from me, yeah
Whoo, baby, baby, baby, I'd rather be blind boy
[Fade out:] Baby, baby, baby... (Etta James)
